Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility.

Safeguarding is an integral part of our life at Our Lady and St George Catholic Primary School and is everyone’s responsibility. All staff receive yearly safeguarding training to help them recognise abuse and promote the welfare of our children. All staff and Governors are required to read and sign to confirm that they understand the school’s Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy, along with the most recent version of Keeping Children Safe in Education, on an annual basis.

We expect all staff, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment.

If you have any concern that a child has been harmed, is at risk of harm, or you receive a disclosure, please contact the school office as quickly as possible and ask to speak to a member of our Safeguarding Leadership Team.
